Who else wants to play the drum set?

​Its not difficult to get started, playing well though will take some time. The magic formula?

“Desire, time, focus, guidance, access to resources, and patience=drummer”

And, we must not forget that pesky metronome!

1. Getting started requires a drum set, sticks, brushes, drum throne, music stand, ear protection and a space to set it all up.
2. Spend some time thinking about your goals. At a minimum this should include the type of music you want to play.
3. Set up your realistic practice timetable to support these goals. For most people, including children, this starts with the question: "What am I going to give up?"
4. Next find a teacher who understands these goals and can sequence learning material to help you on your way.
5. Get started.
